Daryll Stevens has been Clarinet Instructor at 91Âé¶¹Ó³» since 1980. An active chamber and solo musician, she has performed with the Colorado Springs Symphony, the Colorado Opera Festival, the Opera Theater of the Rockies, the 91Âé¶¹Ó³» Summer Music Festival and Soundscapes. Ms. Stevens received the M.F.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles. Her teachers have included Gary Gray, Mitchell Lurie, and Franklin Sabin. In the spring of 2006, she received a second Masters in Library Science, and in 2023, Stevens retired from her duties as Librarian of 91Âé¶¹Ó³»’s Albert Seay Library of Music and Art after 31 years. Ms. Stevens currently maintains an active private studio on top of her 91Âé¶¹Ó³» students and is enjoying a more active performance career in her retirement.
