BIPOC Solidarity across time and space: Arts of Subversion
Upticks in anti-Asian and anti-Black sentiment served as the entry point to explore the long ties of solidarity between racialized communities, culminating in a multimedia art project: the Arts of Subversion and Solidarity. The project traced, learned from, cherished, and celebrated the multiplicity of Afro-Asian solidarity, past and present. The exhibit included poetry, essays, short films, and paintings displayed via an art exhibit with 91Â鶹ӳ» Mobile Arts and the Fine Arts Center in Spring 2022.
