Salvino Bizzarro
Professor Emeritus
Salvino Bizzarro has directed the 91Âé¶¹Ó³» Summer Program in Italy and has also directed Associated Colleges of the Midwest (ACM) Florence and London-Florence programs. He was the founder of the 91Âé¶¹Ó³» Mexico Program, which he also directed on several occasions. Dr. Bizzarro has authored Pablo Neruda: All Poets the Poet and Historical Dictionary of Chile (3rd edition), both published by Scarecrow Press. Professor Bizzarro taught at 91Âé¶¹Ó³» from 1968 until his retirement in 2015.

Maria Daniels

Dr. Daniels has authored The Function of Humor in the Spanish Romances of Chivalry, published by Garland Publishing, Inc. She taught at 91Âé¶¹Ó³» from 1977 until her retirement in 2010.
Research Interests:Cervantes, Mexican Women Writers, Italian Renaissance Art and Literature,Golden Age Women Writers (Maria de Zayas, Santa Teresa, Ana Caro, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz).

Clara Lomas
Professor Emerita
Dr. Lomas is a published scholar, having concentrated her research on post-colonial and post-modern literary theories, and has participated in numerous congresses and professional meetings both in the United States and abroad. She has taught at 91Âé¶¹Ó³» from 1987 until her retirement in 2019.
Research Interests: Chicana/o Literature, Women's Studies, Literary Theory, Latin American Women's Literature and Culture, Mexican American Literature, Theater and Culture.
